I wanted to design something for children specifically with travel in mind. Whether long car journeys, picnics, train-travel, air-travel, beach trips or even just trips to the local cafe. Anywhere where you need to capture your child's attention for more than a second or two. What better way than with memory matching discs?
Memory matching games help children build crutial foundational skills. They rapidly strengthen short-term memory, improve visual discrimination (recognizing shapes and patterns), and boost attention span and focus. Additionally, they teach patience, turn-taking, and resilience through playful social interaction.
Each set comes with one side featuring ocean themed pairs, 2x seahorses, pufferfish, jellyfish, crabs, orcas, turtles, octopuses, and sharks giving a total of 16 discs. Lay them out with the sea critter face down and utilize logic and spatial memory to deduce patterns, make predictions, and solve the puzzle of where a pair is hidden.
But wait, lets go one better. The other sides all feature starfish in four different pastel shades. Blue, purple, pink and yellow. mix them up and play snap when you tire of memory matching! And they come complete with their own linen travel bag! Perfection!
