What are Dilly Blue dolls?

Dilly Blue dolls (aka Dillys) are wooden peg dolls and other wonderful wooden toy shapes, designed for small world play with an emphasis on learning through play.

How are Dillys brought to life?

All of our wooden dolls are made in Wales using responsibly sourced wood. They are hand painted using eco friendly paints and sealed using a child-safe blend of plant-based waxes and plant oil.

Are Dilly Blue dolls suitable for children?

All of our dolls have been through strict testing and are UKCA / CE certified by an independent lab.

Our 6.5cm and 7cm dolls are suitable from birth, though we recommend for play from 12 months as teething may damage the paint.

Our Diferion, Madarch and Skittles are suitable from birth, though we recommend from 12 months as teething may damage the paint. 

Our keyrings are suitable from 3 years+ only and should not be given to younger children as they may pose a choke risk.  

Are Dillys male or female?

Our dolls are gender-neutral. We occasionally choose to imply gender if it feels necessary to the design but overall they are either, both and anything along the spectrum.

Are Dillys eco-friendly?

All of our dolls are made from sustainably-grown wood. They are painted with low VOC, eco-friendly paints and finished with a blend of plant based waxes and plant oils to preserve the paint whilst giving a soft matte finish.

All of our packaging is either recycled or recyclable.

Do you take orders for custom dolls or sets?

Not at the moment, sorry!

Are Dilly colours random?

Yes we have made a conscious decision to be inclusive with all Dillys. If you would like to select which colours we use as part of your order then please add notes during checkout to the notes section provided.

Shipping

Where do you ship to?

We can ship anywhere in the world aside from within the EU and Northern Ireland (GSPR...le sigh), however do be sure to check your country’s import customs tax regulations as Dilly Blue is not responsible for any customs charges that may arise.

How long does it take to dispatch orders?

All of our In-Stock options are ready to post and will be dispatched within five working days unless next day shipping is selected (before 2pm) All personalised* Dillys are made to order and will be dispatched in 3-4 weeks. *This includes names, specific colour choices, skin-tones etc  

Do you offer any free shipping options?

UK orders over £100 ship for free. Worldwide orders over £230 ship free. Free shipping does not apply on sale days such as Black Friday.

You may also combine orders. This will will delay your existing order to the turnaround stated on your new order. Just drop us a message with your order numbers, and we’ll combine them for you.

Do you accept returns?

Returns are only accepted within 14 days of your order. Products must be returned in brand new condition with all original packaging. Unless the return is required due to error agreed by ourselves, we can only refund original postage paid. We recommend returns are sent using a trackable method, as we can only refund once we have received the return. We are unable to offer returns on customised orders. 

 

 

Clearpay

What is Clearpay?

Clearpay lends you a fixed amount of credit so you can pay for your purchase over 4 instalments, due every 2 weeks. Ensure you can make repayments on time. You must be 18+ and a permanent UK resident (excl Channel Islands). Clearpay charges a £6 late fee for each late instalment and a further £6 if it’s still unpaid 7 days later. Late fees are capped at £6 for orders under £24 and the lower of £24 or 25% of the order value for orders over £24. Missed payments may affect your ability to use Clearpay in the future and your details may be passed onto a debt collection agency working on Clearpay's behalf. Clearpay is credit that is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. T&Cs and other eligibility criteria apply at clearpay.co.uk/terms

How do I use Clearpay?

Simply add your Dillys to your Cart, go to checkout and when you come to the Payment section, select Clearpay from the payment options.

This will ask you to review your order before taking you off to the Clearpay site to proceed with your application.

If approved, the order will come through to us and bingo bango, your Dillys will be on our order books and your payment plan in place!

Does Dilly Blue offer credit?

We do not; all decisions are made by Clearpay and we have no input on the decision to approve or disapprove customers who wish to use Clearpay.
