Spectrum

The original Spectrum were the whole reason Dilly Blue started. 

Spectrum is Dilly’s origin story. The dolls were created because our own autistic son was non-verbal and we needed a way for him to communicate. These little dolls helped our own child express himself in a way he'd been unable to previously, and once we started to make them for other families, they helped their children too. 

Now, as we reintroduce them for 2026, we hope they help yours too.

Featuring: Angry, Happy, Sad, Hungry, Love, Tired. Each doll is designed to be an approximation of a feeling and each one can become a more nuanced feeling as littles grow more exable to understand and express themselves. For example "Angry' can start life as simple as 'mad' and  become frustrated, irritated, overwhelmed.
