Who are the people behind Dilly Blue?

I’m Zoe, I design, paint and finish all the dolls alongside home-educating our children. I was a nurse in my past life, but now I’m mostly relegated to chief boo-boo fixer. I’ve been making these wooden toys for seven years now, which feels unreal!

When I started painting these little dolls, I never, not even for a second, expected to be where we are now, but I’m incredibly grateful and consider myself very lucky.

We have four children who are our main testers and offer their sage wisdom and critiques.

We live in a little village in Wales, alongside our three cats, Pookah, Nox, and Grimm.

Dillys are created to last generations and look as good on display as they do during play. All of our designs are made in Wales using responsibly sourced wood, hand painted using eco-friendly paints, and sealed using a child-safe blend of plant-based waxes and plant oil.
