We heard a giddy tittering from the garden on a recent balmy evening (that’s balmy, not barmy; though barmy is a more normative descriptor of the Dilly homestead). 

Odd, we thought. Mr Dilly hasn’t learned a new word for ‘bum*’ in moons. No, this is something else entirely.

Nestled amongst the rocks and...well, weeds if we’re being honest, but flowers if we’re being poetic...was a site to behold: the spritely majesty of the Corlun appeared from seemingly nowhere! Like Mrs Dilly they’re small but perfectly formed and have emerged to wreak pint-sized havoc with the rest of the Dilly fam.

The Diferion deny any and all knowledge (of course they do). Even the Madarch are uncharacteristically mum about the origins of these critters. But it has been duly noted that one of the kids’ science kits went missing around the same time the Corlun appeared. Appropriate authorities have been informed and a full investigation took place - we thought it’d be a right laugh having Robbie Coltrane reprise his role of Cracker but frankly we hadn’t the budget. 

So we blamed the Diferion.
